About Vusizwe


"Vusizwe" is a Xhosa & Zulu word that, directly translated, means "Wake the nation". Vusizwe Global Holdings was born as a result of the amalgamation of our three units which were semi-autonomous in their core business, these Vusizwe Travel; Vusizwe Entertainment as well as Vusizwe Risk Services.


To be a key role-player in all spheres of our business by creating and attracting opportunities for people from across all divides and by providing unique, innovative and cost-effective services.


In 2010 we were blessed to be part of the august events of the African world cup (FIFA 2010 WORLD CUP) where we managed artistic content and produced events in seven provinces across the country. Equally we co-produced the South African cultural showcases in Shanghai during the 2010 Shanghai World Expo (May Oct) South Africa became a country of Honor in MIDEM 2010 because we were to host the FIFA WORLD Cup. We mounted very electric and powerful concerts in France and we were armed with our very best artists and veterans: Thandiswa Mazwai, Vusi Mahlasela, Jonas Gwangwa, Caiphus Semenya, Letta Mbulu, Kurt Darren, Jozi, Zuluboy, Nokukhanya Dlamini and more In August 2010, we ran cultural development workshops in Swaziland, working with the Swaziland government and we made solid recommendations on what needed to be done to make the necessary progress in the Creative Industries in Swaziland. These workshops and cultural development consultation efforts are now focused on Botswana where we are establishing a viable program of action that will assist the government of Botswana. On 17th November 2010, Mpho Molepo, Head of SATI, after an event we production managed under Dreamcatcher Multi-Media, the launch of the Stimela long awaited CD, "A Life time" Mr Molepo remarked: "The Market Theatre has not hosted such an event before, it is unsurpassed and it is a complete presentation the AV, the lighting, the stage set, the musical presentation was all superb". The year 2009 was also a very exciting year for us, for we participated in the Pan African Festival 2009 in Algeria where we managed five of South Africa's multitalented and award winning artists namely, Gloria Bosman, Rhythmic Elements, Imithente, Vivid Africa and Jub Jub.
